Yoga and Joint Pain, Flexibility and Function

Yoga and Joint Pain, Flexibility and Function

A recent article on the Arthritis Foundation has shown that Yoga is proven to help people with arthritis improve many physical and psychological symptoms. Recent scientific studies of people with various types of arthritis show that regular yoga practice can help reduce joint pain, improve joint flexibility and function, and lower stress and tension to promote better sleep.

What more reasons could you need to start Yoga? Here at The Lansdown Clinic we offer Yoga on a Thursday at 11am, specifically to help with back pain and arthritis. Anyone is welcome to join the class regardless of ability; class sizes are kept small to ensure individual requirements are met.

Classes are run by Jay Foo, an experienced Yoga instructor, who primarily teaches Yin Yoga at the clinic. For more information or to book a space, please call 01453 755799 or e-mail reception@lansdownclinic.co.uk
