Osteoporosis Scanning

The Lansdown Clinic offers advice and scanning for osteoporosis. Using the latest qualitative ultrasound scanning (QUS) equipment, consultant Alan Potter, is able to provide an accurate assessment of fracture risk.

Osteoporosis scanning appointments consists of a discussion of risk factors for osteoporosis, a bone densitometry assessment and a discussion of the results. Information about osteoporosis is supplied and a report is sent to the GP (where consent is given)
