Pilates
The Lansdown Clinic offers this highly popular and effective form of exercise for men and women of all ages. Pilates is a gentle form of body conditioning which helps to improve muscle tone, core stability and body shape. It is excellent for those suffering with back pain and is a recommended form of rehabilitation.
Courses are run in 10-week blocks and are payable in advance. Places can be booked by placing a deposit of 20%.
Pilates classes at The Lansdown Clinic are limited to six per class to allow careful individual attention. Daytime and evening classes are available and dedicated classes are available for senior citizens and pregnant women. Pilates teacher, Amanda Hyde, is a graduate of the London Pilates Institute and has gained a reputation as one of the area's leading instructors.
