The Lansdown Clinic is expanding its services to support more family activities.
We are excited that we are now offering baby and toddler yoga to launch our new family service.

Our classes are small, friendly and in a safe space. Our classes are perfect for you to bond with your little ones and meet new people too.

Baby and Toddler yoga is taught by the brilliant Vicky also known as the Yoga Bird. Vicky is also a mum and has many years’ experience in teaching yoga to all ages.

Our first term of baby and toddler yoga classes starts on the following:

Toddler Yoga (18months – 5 years)

Toddler Yoga
  • Toddler yoga is a fun, interactive class designed to introduce toddlers to yoga allowing them to discover and explore what their bodies can do, exercising their body, mind and breath all at the same time. 
  • The class helps develop body awareness, promotes balance, physical strength, co-ordination and concentration as well as starting to teach them the importance to calming the mind, switching off and resting. 
  • Each class is run to a different theme to engage the children and will consist of breathing exercises, poses, yoga story, a yoga game or song of some description and finishing with some mediation and relaxation. 
  • The parents join in with all the yoga moves themselves enabling mum and child to have fun exercising together.

 

Baby Yoga (6 weeks + or 12 weeks plus if caesarean)

Toddler Yoga
  • The parent and baby class is open to all, those who have been practicing yoga for many years and those who are completely new to yoga.
  • The class aim is to provide a supportive and fun environment to new mum's offering them a great way to ease their way back into exercise after the birth of their baby, discovering how yoga can help them stretch, strengthen and tone their body whilst teaching them the benefits of relaxation and good breathing techniques.
  • As this is a class for mother and baby, the baby is not forgotten, and the session will include gentle yoga for their baby, music and rhymes throughout the class will be completed in a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging special interaction and bonding opportunity for the parent and their new baby.
