About Fitball Exercise for Over 50’s and Core & Balance Classes

Using fitballs to exercise is an excellent way to help build strength by engaging muscle groups, improve your flexibility, and increase core stability, all of which are important for maintaining a healthy musculoskeletal system and improving overall fitness.

The class is taught by Lynne Gardiner who also runs our in-house spinal rehabilitation programme and has over 26 years’ experience of teaching exercise. The class is suitable for all abilities and fitness levels and is limited to a maximum number of 6-8 participants, meaning that the exercises can be tailored to your own requirements.

The class is particularly suitable for those who have arthritic spines, knees and hips as the exercises can help to build muscles around these joints without putting too much stress on the body, or those who are struggling to exercise effectively due to other musculoskeletal conditions.

Classes, Payment and Booking

Lynne currently runs our Fitball Exercise for Over 50’s class on Mondays 11.10am – 12pm and Fridays at 3.40pm - 4-30pm.

The cost of a single class is £10, or 10 classes can be consecutively block booked for £90. Places may be booked by telephoning the clinic on 01453 755799 or emailing
