Alec graduated from the University of Glamorgan in 2012 after four years of full time study, obtaining a Masters of Chiropractic degree (MChiro). He spent the first three years after graduation working in Wiltshire, but relocated back home to Gloucestershire in 2015.
Alec and his family have been patients at The Lansdown Clinic for several years, and his experience as a patient during his adolescence was the primary driving force for inspiring him to become a chiropractor. Alec wanted to help people in pain and share just how amazing chiropractic care can be.
Alec enjoys getting to know his patients as well as providing pain relief and treatment. He has a particular interest in how psychosocial variables can impact on pain perception and has completed further learning in this area since graduating.
Alec uses a range of treatment techniques and is qualified in kinesio taping, dry needling, proprioceptive muscle testing, and instrument assisted mobilisation. He is a full member of the British Chiropractic Association has completed post-registration training with the Royal College of Chiropractors. Alec is also registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Outside of work Alec is a huge sporting enthusiast, animal lover, traveller, bookworm and philanthropist. He has played football most of his life and it has been his main sporting passion. Alec has also developed a strong interest in cycling, triathlon, tennis and running.
Alec offers appointment on a Monday afternoon, Wednesday morning, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
